Isik Güner is te gast als buitenlandse docent van dinsdag 11 t/m vrijdag 14 april 2023.
Dit voorjaar is Isik Güner onze buitenlandse gastdocent. Zij beheerst al jaren het wetenschappelijk botanisch illustreren met pen en inkt en aquarel en heeft diverse prijzen gewonnen met haar werk.
Zij geeft les in tekenen en aquarel in veel landen.
In 2019 heeft Isik een Engelstalig lesboek uitgegeven met de titel ‘Botanical Illustration from Life – A Visual Guide to Observing, Drawing and Painting Plants’ met 208 pagina’s. Het is een buitengewoon compleet boek waarin alle aspecten staan van het wetenschappelijk tekenen en aquarel.
Haar advies is: Kijk buiten rond – de natuur is overal. Teken het origineel, de betere vorm van alleen kijken.
Het boek bevat drie hoofdstukken over observatie, compositie en het tekenen van planten. Er zijn ook drie hoofdstukken over schetsen, schilderen, kleur, kleur mengen, details en het geheel. Daarnaast laat het boek verschillende uitgewerkte voorbeelden zien van bloemen, bladeren, wortels, knoppen en fruit.
Vind je eigen stijl en je laten inspireren door de natuur.
Van dinsdag 11 t/m vrijdag 14 april 2023 geeft Isik Güner in Sassenheim een workshop.
De inschrijving voor leden was vanaf 7 januari j.l. De workshop was in korte tijd volgeboekt.

This spring, Isik Güner is our foreign guest lecturer. For years she has mastered scientific botanical illustration with pen and ink and watercolor and has won several prizes with her work. She teaches drawing and watercolor in many countries.
Isik published an English textbook in 2019 with the title ‘Botanical Illustration from Life – A Visual Guide to Observing, Drawing and Painting Plants’ with 208 pages. The book is very complete and contains all aspects of scientific drawing and watercolor.
Her advise is to: Look outside – nature is everywhere. Draw the original, the better form of just looking.
The book contains three chapters on observation, composition and the drawing of plants. It also has three chapters about sketching, painting, color, mixing color, details and the whole. In addition the book shows various detailed examples of flowers, leaves, roots, buds and fruit. Find your own style and be inspired by nature.
From Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 April 2023 Isik Güner gives a workshop in Sassenheim.
The registration for members was from January 7, last. The workshop was fully booked in a short time.
